I just want to say that Aqua’s LinQ streamer/DAC combo is a high-end audio product that has received generally positive reviews from audiophiles and reviewers alike. In terms of sound quality, many users have reported a significant improvement over lower-priced streamer/DACs. However, as with all audio equipment, the sound quality is subjective and depends on a variety of factors such as personal taste, the rest of the system, the room acoustics, and the music being played.

Regarding the HQPlayer Core module option for the LinQ, it is designed to provide the same flexibility and customization as the standalone HQPlayer software, with options for upsampling, filtering, and other processing features for both PCM and DSD.
