Aqua LinQ+La Scala Optologic Combo

I am currently using a RoseHifi 150B and thinking of upgrading to the Aqua separate streamer/dac combo. 

Would like to get some comment/feedback from those who have experienced the Aqua pair. Do you think it will be a big improvement over the Rose (price wise, it is almost triple)

I am quite interested in the HQPlayer Core module option for the LinQ; wondering if it presents all the flexibility/customization (upsampling, filters for both PCM/DSD) ect...) that HQPlayer software is known for? Would that also mean i wouldn't need a separate PC/linux box running roon core duties?
