Anyone using an external streamer with a Bricasti M12 or M21?

Curious if anyone has decided to use an external streamer with their Bricasti DAC instead of using the built-in network capability?

While it works, I don't have the same level of control over the M21 volume like I would if it were certified. Looking at things like the Auralic and Lumin devices, they offer screens showing track data, cover art, etc. They also have more options for DSD, etc. Exploring the options...
