Anyone tried Audience Auric Illuminator on CD's?

If so, how well did it work? Thanks

We all seem to use different products. I've been using Record Research Lab "Shine Ola" on my CD's, DVD's and SACD's for a few years with great results. I haven't tried the new, latest version of AI and most likely won't.
Hi Larry,

You can buy RRL products at Acoustic Sounds, Classic Records, Elusive Disc, Music Direct, Red Trumpet, and Galen Carol Audio to name a few. (These are all places I've bought RRL record cleaner from in the past).

I believe that Red Trumpet may still have a special on RRL still for first time users. If not Galen Carol has it for $20 plus shipping.

Hi Larry,

Maybe I should try some Audiotop and report back my Shine Ola vs Audiotop conclusions? Where do you buy it?

Best wishes,
Jack
Hi Larry,

Great. One very important question, where does one buy Audiotop? I don't see them advertised anywhere. Do you buy direct? Do you have a contact number?

I'll also suggest, since you are doing comparisons on CDR's that you add one CDR to your test; pre-clean a disc with Shine Ola before you burn it.

We have a group of 4 to 5 guys that meet from time to time, just like Albert Porter's group. As soon as we can find out where to buy Audiotop, we'll share our conclusions as well. One CDR precleaned with Audiotop, one afterwards. One CDR precleaned with Shine Ola, one afterwards, and one that remains untouched.

If we wait a week or two, we can have BLER tests conducted by a friend that works at a large, well known software business that transfers sensitive data. He has benches filled with test equipment which test for things I'm not even aware of.

Best wishes,
Jack
