Anyone see Jamie Cullum & LA Phil Hollywood Bowl

Just wondering if anyone caught this show. I thought it was very entertaining. The conductor, Bramwell Tovey is very entertaining and had great interactions with the audience. Jamie Cullum was great! I have a newfound respect for his piano playing as well as his voice. It is so organic and textured. Anyway, great show. Thinking about seeing Diana Krall there later in August as well.

If you enjoyed the show, check out his 2004 album;

Happy Listening!
redwoodz, I have been to the kuumba. I used to live in the Bay Area and at one point worked in the Santa Cruz area. Great place for a motorcycle ride as well!

I am familiar with Jane Monheit. She is indeed good. Thanks for the headsup!

Also, thank you for the kind words about my system. It is definitely a work in progress....
Wow Tboooe,
Nice set up. Just checked it out. You stated you were into female vocalists. Have you checked out Jane Monheit? She has a great voice, and is easy on the eyes. If you get a chance to see her live, go! I just saw her for the second time at a great small venue in Santa Cruz called the Kuumba.
yeah, I love the energy he brings. I would like to see him again in a smaller venue.
I didn't catch the show. But I have seen him twice and both times he was amazing. I saw him once at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Which has outstanding acoustics. Jamie even commented on it and played without a microphone for a short time. He also invited fans to sit on the stage during part of the show. Interesting to hear music when you are sitting on stage. He is very entertaining and his cover of "Lover You Should Have Come Over" is almost as good as Buckley's.
