I had a very minor problem with mine. In about the 7 o'clock position on the volume control(very low volume), the left channel on the headphone jack would drop out. I sent the unit back, and they returned it within the week. They replaced the volume pot. No issues at all.
Anyone needed to use warranty for Benchmark DAC1?
I'm thinking about getting a Benchmark DAC1, probably used, but I notice the Benchmark 5-year warranty only applies to the original owner. So, has anyone with the DAC1 actually had problems that the warranty covered? Even rumours or common wisdom would be welcome.
