Anyone know maker of MKL 15B3 dd t/t motor

I am trying to find who manufactured the above direct drive motor as fitted to the JBE III turntable, manufactured between 1978 & 1980 in UK. It was 8 pole 24 slot or visa versa and made in Japan. If I can find a direct equivalent of similar or better quality then thet would be great. Really I am looking for a DD guru/knowledge-source. I have approached Techics but they really didn't give a damn & fobbed me off. Please help if you can.
