Esoteric UX-03 US retail is $8200. It has firewire/iLink connection. Drive is simplified version of VRDS-NEO used on UX-01. Video processing is not as good as UX-01.
I heard that it is not good as X-01/X-03 on CD/SACD and on DVD-V/DVD-A not as good as UX-01.
It is more like better version of DV50S that I own.
Also metal work on X-03/UX-03 is not the same class as X-01/UX-01, I saw them both this year on Munich show.
