You can see my responses under the "Anyone hear the DB99 thread... Short answer is I did not like them at all... but it was at THE Show, so the room and electronics may not have been optimal.
I heard them at CES and was really impressed. Don't remember the rest of the system but remember telling JTinn and others how surprised I was by the sound of the 4SR's as all the buzz was on the 9's and 11's.
