Anyone have experience with Yamaha PC2002M amp?

I just picked up a couple of older Yamaha power amps, a PC1002 and a PC2002M for a really great deal. I'm using the PC1002 to power a pair of NS10M monitors in my recording studio, but I was curious if any of you ever had any experience using the mammoth PC2002M in 2 channel stereo/hi-fi applications before? I've read some great older reviews of this amp, but was curious if pairing this with a quality analog or tube preamp would be a good match? If so, any suggestions for a complementary preamp? Thanks-
