Although this speaker is available for home use, I seems targeted toward the commercial market. I think the PMC FB1 and LB1 classic would be better for home use. Hi-Fi Choice, a British magazine has done several reviews of the PMC speakers. The current issue reviews the PMC DB1 and has an example system built with the PMC FB1. It may be worth you while to pick up a copy, and possibly even order some back issues that contain reviews of other PMC speakers on the Hi-Fi Choice "favorite speakers" list.
I have never heard these speaker myself, but they seem very interesting. As you may know, most of the PMC speakers can be ordered with a Bryston amplifier strapped to the back to make them powered speakers. I don't think this company distributes very much to the normal hi-fi dealears in the U.S., so finding somewhere to listen to them may be difficult. Contact Bryston to find a dealer as they are the distributors for the line in North America.
