Any suggestions for in-wall cabling?

Unfortunately, there are not many manufacturers who have focused any attention towards a high quality in-wall. Another important consideration is shielding because of the length of the runs.

Also, if you are interested in conforming to National building codes, (BOCA, Building Official Code Administration) you must use a wire with a CL3 certification.

Lat International offers a 2 wire and 4 wire version of their in-wall speaker cable. It meets all of the above mentioned criteria and is reasonably priced @ $99.00 per 100ft roll for the 2 wire, $156.00 per 100ft roll of the 4 wire (Bi-wire) .

LAT makes a very good quality product for the money. It is probably one of the best wires available for your application.

Breitlingdj, I try to avoid the "good, better, best" scenarios on this forum. In this case the word "superior". Although, if LAT is using the same method of construction, and the same quality of raw material that he uses in the rest of his cabling, Yes, I would have to assume that it is of a better quality than the Monster.

LAT uses seven 9 purity copper and silver in the construction of his wiring. PTFE teflon is used in the outer sheath of his wiring, and his wire is braided, not twisted, for rejection of RFI/ EMI.

I use LAT wiring exclusively for both my 2 channel system and my HT. I have tried many different cables including several different types of Monster. The first and most noticable characteristic of LAT, is that it is DEAD QUIET.

I also find LAT to be the most natural sounding, yielding NO sonic signature. I won't say there is not "better" sounding out there, but I will say that there is "different" sounding.

But that's just MY opinion.
