Any steve hoffman fans?

Kinda late to to the party...but his Killers and Bad Co remasters sound good to me...improved clarity, wide sound stage, smooth treble, controlled bass...equal or surpass my lp offerings...Doors Morisson hotel less of a quantum leap..but the Doors were well recorded ...any thoughts? Deep purple or others?
