You might try Nick Gowan at True Sound in Campbell, CA. He has experience modifying Quad speakers and should have no problem with your Quad subwoofer.

Quad no longer has a distributor in the US; so no service. My Quad subwoofer needs repair. Does anyone know where it can be prepared?
