Sean - How are you doing? So what are your thoughts? I've had the Millenium DAC II for a few months. I think I was the first person to receive one after Rick put his own designed FET output in. My feelings are mixed. The vocals at times knock my socks off. The bass definitely goes lower than my previous DAC. There is definitely more decay. The DAC removed a lot of CD hash. On the other side of the coin, at times it seems too harsh and sterile, other times it seems as if the instruments are relegated to the background while the vocals take precedence over everything else. I've done some tube rolling in my pre-amp to tone it down, but with limited success. I would be most interested in hearing your thoughts.

I've been listening to my new EVS DAC and would like to compare notes with some of the others that are intimately familiar with them.
