Any one tries Focal Electra 1027 with Mcintosh amp

I am considering the Focal 1027 Be with my C2200 preamp and Mc 402. Any comments would be appreaciated.

I haven't heard them together but am familiar with all of them. They will play to each others' strengths - which should be the goal in matching amps and speakers. I think you can't go wrong. Arthur
