I am getting the drive 1 mk2 this week, I will compare with my AA suroundplayer and let you now. As for dvd's it is the best I have ever heard untill now but for cd 's my Wadia 301 ( both used as transport on a AA DAC 1 mk4 )is doing a much better job. I am not saying that the universal player is sounding bad compared to the Wadia but different; it has a very natural and clean sound with an excellent soundstage and PRAT is also very good. The Wadia is doing much better with an very extended low range, bigger and deeper soundstage and brings more rest in everything it plays. to be continued
