Presto Music’s sound quality is highly regarded, particularly for classical and jazz, offering up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution". This is from their web site.
Presto Music Streaming is available on my Audiovana App as of release 2.10.0. As soon as I upgrade my streamer, I will test it. This might take some time (TBD).
Presto Music streaming is available on a variety of devices (must be confirmed):
• Mobile Devices: Android and iOS apps are available for smartphones and tablets.
• Desktop Computers: Windows and macOS desktop apps are supported.
• Web Browsers: A web streaming app allows access via modern browsers.

FYI: The latest Audirvāna Studio release now integrates Presto Music streaming service. If you already use Presto, connect it in the streaming settings and enjoy it directly inside Audirvāna along with your local library. Presto Music is the UK’s leading destination for classical and jazz recordings, whether via its streaming service or online and in-store sales of CDs, DVDs, high-quality downloads, and vinyl. It offers 200,000+ albums to stream, many in high-resolution audio quality, and exclusive editorial content, including articles, reviews, and guides to new releases. Presto Music is available in 35 countries (United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and 30 European countries) whilst downloads, CDs, DVDs and Vinyl are available worldwide. >>> With its Fair Play initiative, Presto Music pays per second of music streamed rather than ‘per play’ like other services. That makes a significant difference, especially in classical and jazz recordings, where tracks can be significantly longer than the average pop or rock tune. FYI: Roon does not currently support integration with Presto Music for streaming. While there have been discussions and speculation about potential integration, no official announcements or timelines have been provided. However, Presto Music is integrated with BluOS and other platforms like Audirvana. FYI: The Aurender Conductor app does not currently support Presto Music streaming. The app integrates with services like Tidal and Qobuz but does not list Presto Music as an available option for streaming setup. Presto Music is compatible with platforms like BluOS and Eversolo for Hi-Res streaming. |
@hgeifman Presto is focused on albums, definitely not playlists. Just my taste of course, but when I listen to classical and jazz, I typically listen by album, so it works for me. I do like their focus on introducing new albums and how I can find new music by classical genre by example. |
Thanks for your email above regarding classical and jazz playlists. I also mostly listen to albums since I am able to pick and choose what I want. On the other hand, sometimes, I select a QoBuz playlist to listen to. AND, in many cases, I discover an ALBUM that I really like and make it a favorite. Qobuz playlists are excellent way to discover new music. I suggest you listen to the QoBuz Infigo Audio playlist. These are the Infigo Audio company’s tracks they use at the various audio shows. Infigo Audio will be curating this list by adding and deleting tracks over time so it might change gradually. I find that I really like their track selection and, of course, I have made some of these albums my favorite. The Infigo Audio playlist contains the essential tracks in Hi-Res 24-bit for an unequalled sound quality (FLAC 24-Bit / 192kHz). These tracks are fun to listen to. |
