We were an anthem dealer for many years yes the separates are better but you would do even with brands like Krell or zesto which take the personas to an entirely higher level

Anthem STR Upgrade Worth It?
I currently own an Anthem STR Integrated Amp driving Paradigm Persona 7F speakers.
My room is approximately 13’ wide x 20’ deep x 12’ high with primary listening seat 10’ from speakers. Mix of vinyl and digital, across almost all music genres.
Despite being mostly satisfied with the sound, ARC, and HTB (home theater bypass), I am curious about what going to the separate STR Preamp and STR Amp would do…I.e. could I be missing a life changing experience 😉
I’m assuming the same neutral transparent Anthem sound character which I enjoy.
Can I expect the doubling of power from 200w to 400w to justify the expense ?
