Andover Spindeck is really good
Bought one after reading Fremer’s review and coincidentally I wanted to try a Transimpedence phonostage out.
after a week, the Sutherland 20/20 with LPS has yet to go back into service.
Audibly, the biggest difference is a more lively, energetic sound vs the 20/20 which is very even tempered. I think the Andover has a slight bump in the presence region but not sure. Seems that way.
Anyway, for $250 it’s singing with my at33ptg/ii (10 ohm).I’ll put the 20/20 back in to compare but this thing is so much fun. Perhaps a LPS or good SMPS is in order.
