Amplifier with Watt/Puppies 6s

I heard the Watt/Puppies with ML's yesterday, damned impressive. Haven't heard them with the Pass Labs, but it seems to me you can't go wrong with the Levinsons, I fell in lust....

I don't know if this is valid: I've heard the X-1000 vs the 33Hs lashed up to the W/P 6's using Nordost SPM reference. The 33Hs were very detailed, relaxed and fluid sounding compared to the X-1000's (but base had a little more extension with the Pass Labs). Perhaps the Nordost was more synergistic with ML; with different cabling, one may be able to obtain similair results with the PL's - that's why I hesitate to be more dogmatic. Cables, cables, cables, play with the cable!

Thank you for the input. I have been told the 33Hs have better base control, if not extension, than the Pass Lab equipment. Perhaps the 33Hs also have more grace and refinement. Base control and transparency are more important to me than a robust bottom end.

Marlec: Where did you hear this comparison? I have been trying to find a dealer that carries both Pass Labs and Levinson and there is only one that I could find and he leaned heavily to the Pass Labs equipment.

This was not a dealer demo. Rather, a loan of the PS monobblocks to a friend with an existing ML and W/P system. Apologies for the delay in reply.
