I’m looking for some input on a possible amplifier purchase. I am considering purchasing a Carver Crimson 275 tube amp. Does anyone know anything about them? Not only that, I’m considering trading up from a Jolida JD1000 RC. I know I would also need a preamp to take the place of the Jolida. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Comparisons pros and cons Carver vs Jolida? For now, the Preamp I’m considering is a PS Audio Stellar Gain Cell pre/dac. I’m trying to keep the budget down since this is a third system for my home.
