I'm using Revel Gems, a Bryston 10B crossover and a pair of JLF112 subs powered by a McIntosh MA6900 (200 watt) integrated. I have a McIntosh C2200 preamp sitting idle so I'm asking for amp recommendations to replace the integrated and re-power this system.
As a former owner of Ultima Gem, I would recommend two options. The easiest way seems to be following McIntosh way and buy power amp (stereo or mono) for C2200. Or try one of Mark Levinson amps, 436 for ex. Good luck !
