Alternative for VPI springs?

I have an HW19/IV with the standard spring suspension. I have often wondered if the performance could be improved with a non-spring suspension. It seems the favorite substitute is Sims Navcom Silencers, no longer available and rarely offered for sale used.
Is there anything I can actually get that does the job well?

Herbie's also makes a turntable specific "isoball and cup" unit. I'd contact them if the Sims thing falls through or for those in the same situation. I think Herbies has a no hassle return policy too. Here is the link to the webpage.
