I replaced the springs on my VPI/Denon with double sets of Symposium roller blocks with great success. The music came to life.
Alternative for VPI springs?
I have an HW19/IV with the standard spring suspension. I have often wondered if the performance could be improved with a non-spring suspension. It seems the favorite substitute is Sims Navcom Silencers, no longer available and rarely offered for sale used.
