Allison Six - Great but gone

I remember hearing these beautiful speakers in a high end store in Chicago in the late 70's. I sat listening to Beethoven for 30 minutes. Sold. Then picked up a Luxman Receiver (forgot model number.) Gone but not forgotten.

I would love to get my hands on a set of Allison Six in mint condition.

I have a pair of near mint Allison Sixes. I picked them up from Ebay. In general, I think that Allison speakers appear on Ebay more often than on Audiogon; it is worth checking both.

A pair is up for sale on DC Craigslist for $300. They look pretty good and may be shippable. Good luck.
