I have lots of classical LPs on my shelf that I can't find on Qobuz or even Primephonic, my go-to site for classical stuff. Not that it doesn't make perfect sense for a streaming source, but hard drive-hogging complete operas are truly scarce in the streaming world. For starters, how 'bout the deliriously wonderful Blumlein recorded, 3d-in-all-its-glory Marriage of Figaro on EMI from the 1950's?
Album that you cherish that are not found on streaming services (Stomu Yamashta & GO)
So I am listening this morning to Stomu Yamashta & GO. Circa 1976.
This album features Steve Winwood, Michael Shrieve and Al Dimeola among others.
This one is up there with Alan Parsons' I-Robot for me,, for comparison's sake.
Powerful, Ethereal and even funky at times.
Still sounds great after all these years. Not available on Tidal as far as I know, not everything is.
So, for folks that love streaming as I do, what album(s) do you have that is not available to stream.
This is not a question of comparing sound quality, that is perhaps for another thread.
Enjoying all the musical formats!
