It will work however it has the highest jitter of any digital source. This can be fixed with an in-line reclocker like the Synchro-Mesh. This will make it equal or better than the best transport.

Airport Express To A DAC
In my ongoing exploration of Hi Rez digital audio I am wondering if there would be any advantage to running an Apple Airport Express into a regular (non-upsampling 16/44.1)DAC. I currently am running one into a Cambridge Audio DacMagic for my main system, but am wondering if it makes sense to run one into my old DAC on a second system. I know the Airport processes at 16/44.1. Thanks
