I have the CJ Premier 16 LS Series 2. The Calypso is superior in my system. The 16 has been disappointing in that it seems veiled compared to comparably-priced linestages such as the Calypso and the Nagra PL-P
Aesthetix Calypso vs. Conrad-Johnson Premier 17LS2
Has anyone compared the Aesthetix Calypso against the Conrad-Johnson Premier 17 LS2? What were your thoughts? I'm considering the C-J based on having previously owned the D/A-3 DAC, but haven't heard the either. I haven't been able to find a dealer within 250 miles who's had either one to audition.
