Advice on upgrading my speakers

Hello Audiogoner friends, it's Barbman the audiophile on a beer budget! Need some help in replacing my current speakers a pair of 15 year old Legacy Classics. My audio components consists of Oppo Bdp-95 player, Krell S300i amp and Audioquest cv-8 speaker cables. I listen to Jazz,pop,classical and Blu-ray concert disc. I've been looking at speakers from Vandersteen, Focal, Revel, PSB to name a few. My main concern is well define bass, detail, and good soundstaging. The Barbman's budget oh, about $3500.
