There is a major tradeoff using a digital volume control versus an analog one. A few companies have addressed the problem digitally, but in general, use an analog volume control whenever possible if you are fussy about sound quality.
Adjusting speaker sound levels when streaming

My question is very simple and is probably something I have overlooked. I'm curious as
to how speaker sound levels are adjusted with a Marantz 8802a receiver while streaming. If I use any other input my OSD will allow me to change speaker levels. However, while I am streaming using the TV audio input my OSD does not function. Thoughts???
