Active speakers and DAC

Hi,

Just wanted to know if I could connect active speakers to my Perfect Wave PS audio DAC. For example, I’m thinking on the Buchardt A500. Would them be a good match?

thanks

The DAC you use isn't relevant, I never used a DAC when I auditioned the A500 they have a built in DAC and every input runs through it.
djones51 has it covered. If you want the A500s dump your DAC. Or write Mads if you don’t belive us, he quickly replies. Try them free for 45 days and don’t look back.
Most other actives like Genelecs will work fine with your DAC so your question is ...
Oh thanks, so do you recommend me to go for the A500? They were only an option but due to what I’ve read seems they are a great alternative.
The Buchardt will work with the DAC but it isn't necessary, everything runs through the A500 DAC so it doesn't matter if you connect a $10K DAC or a cheap streamer or preamp, it would sound the same.  I used a Lumin U1 mini which doesn't have a DAC. I didn't keep them, IMO the bass was to boomy and unnatural but the A500 can be EQ'ed. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to get them right I moved on to different speakers. For the price they are pretty good speakers at times I wish I would have spent more time working with them in my room but I had 3 different pairs at once and went with Genelec.
Only can use if thedac can control volume

I heard the buchardts at axpona last year wasnt impressed at all totally over hype the kef ls 50 meta  wireless is  far better
