Acoustec Ph1-P versus PS Audio’s NuWave Phono Converter

I've had the Acoustec for over 10 years or so, bought refurbished and wanted to know if anyone had an opinion on the virtues (pros vs. cons) with PS Audio's NuWave Phono Converter.  They are 1/2 price now due to closeout and new replacement product coming out.  Didn't know if the $1k would be worth upgrading from the Ph1-P?
