Accuphase E-5000 factory power cord good enough?

I have Accuphase E5000 plugged into my Equitech son of q jr. balanced power supply. Sounds great and I have had the Equitech for a good 15 years now. Everything is dead quiet, not even a hiss coming from the system. Just started thinking about power cords and if it is worth it, I’m in the U.S., if that matters. Thanks

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this...

@jafant Still looking around. Looking at used and saving some money up. Not in a rush, it sounds great at the moment.

@stereo5 i didn’t think Accuphase actually had those cables. Thought they were just knock offs?

@stereo5 I see the Accuphase cables you are talking about on their website, but no power cables from them. I just see eBay sellers selling the power cables for around $35. I don’t believe they are actually from Accuphase.

@panzrwagn Yeas sir, that is the truth. Maybe a $5.00 cord, but they are the cheaper black cords with molded ends.

@audioman58 Thanks

@riie Thanks, probably will

@lordrootman Just looking into something a little better quality and better looking, nothing crazy.

@margaretha Thanks, which ones have you tried?

@westcoastaudiophile I have just had it plugged into my equitech son of q jr  balanced power suppy. Sounds great. I always had my classe delta pre & power plugged into that also before I sold it and got the accuphase. I like having some kind of surge protection that the equitech offers too. IDK , Is it bad to have it plugged into the equitech? Thanks

Thanks everyone, was just looking into it and taking my time. I don’t know what I’m going to do. Didn’t want to start another cable war with everyone. I’m in no rush. Just looking around and looking at used at the moment. Right now the factory cord sounds fine. Biggest difference I’ve heard over the years is the Equitech son of q jr balance power supply in my system and also different dacs. Thanks

@rtacconi  I may go that route. I’m pretty handy with everything. I wouldn’t spend over $300 on a power cable. Thanks

@jjss49 Yeah, It's crazy, Even looking is crazy because there are so many options.

@westcoastaudiophile What Accuphase high grade power cables? The facory black one with molded ends is decent, i would say a bit thicker than some other standard ones I have seen.

@macg19 Thanks, yeah I understand what you are saying. Thanks

@retiredfarmer Damm, thanks! I'm pretty happy withe Equi=tech Son of Q balanced power supply I have had for years. Everything is dead silent with the "black background" that everyone talks about. I have a 200 amp service. Was just bored and started reading into power cords. It has four filtered outlets and 6 that are not. The filtered are for dacs and cd players etc. So, pretty damm happy with the sound for now.

@lalitk Thanks, I will try one sooner than later. I'm sure aftermarket one is better. Appreciate it!

I’m curious what everyone thinks about power cables with the molded ends like, PS audio prelude, audioquest NRG or a Pangea power cord?

@gibsonian $1,000 for a PC that is fatter than the internal wiring in the e5000 and the wiring in the home? 3'-6' of a power cord? I don't have the extra money like I did at the time of buying the e5000.
