Accuphase DP-55

I'm currently using Perpetual gear and looking for a good transport? ANyone heard the DP-55?

It's hard to believe that it's as poor as he says, but on the other hand, he was one reviewer I tended to trust and I've heard a number of digital components he's reviewed. It can't hurt to have Harley's input, can it, even if you decide to buy a DP-55 anyway? It would make me cautious.
