Accuphase C2400 voltage change to 230V

Hello,
I know this topic was treated years ago, but it seems that now it is not that easy anymore to change the voltage of an Accuphase product.
I live in Japan and moving to France next month, and dont' want to miss the chance to buy a C2400 at an appealing price.
I don't know if Accuphase in France would easily change the voltage, at the due price of course.

Anyone knows if the use of a PowerBright VC100W voltage transformer would change the sound of the preamp? Would it be a safe solution?

Any feedback would be really appreciated
