AAD Silver Refernece 5?

I am considering several speakers and would like some feedback. I currently have the Primaluna Prologue 2 and a NAD player. Many have suggested the Triangle Antal ESW as a good match (2,000). I have also listened to the Proac D15 (which I liked). Here is my question. I recently spoke with the USA AAD rep. I really liked the look of the AAD silver reference 5 ($2,600). They are currently being shipped from overseas and was wondering if I should take the chance. Phil Jones designer. Any other suggestions ($2000-$3,000).
