A second system disk player? Suggestions?

As I continue on my journey to put together a modest second system, a question.

I, as many of you, have some components to use in a bedroom system.  Most likely a Magnum Dynalab 208, some various Wireworld and Nordost cables, and a pair of bookshelf speakers by Quad.  I am looking at various disk players on the used market.  I do have a decent number of SACD and a good number of Redbook disks.  Also, hopefully no one shoot me on this, I may consider a multi disk player with or without an outboard DAC.

As a side note, I do use a micro system in my office for monitoring good FM stations in my area, and use the Nakaimchi SoundSpace 5.  I have mentioned this before, but the Nak 5 is a very satisfying product, I gave one to my eldest son while in college, and now he is in the film industry in Ca. and still uses it for his main system.

Best bang for the buck (though a crapshoot due to age) would be a Sony 9000ES for SACD plus a decent DAC for Redbook (unless if you are OK with the Redbook of the 9000).

Didn't you own it @ one point?

Anyway I found the "budget" 9000's SACD performance pretty much comparable to their 1 and 777 units (way back when;-).

+  Sony ES

Sony. ES 777 or 9000 killer units.

I use a few of the ES series, 555 777 and the 9000. They have multi-disk ES versions.. I've never tried one though.. Big bang for the buck

I was going to say, my Sony 5 disc player sounds as good as my super duper dual matched burr brown onkyo. my niece was throwing the Sony out, because she couldn't find her remote. I took it to sell at garage sale, bingo she finds the remote. I put it in, compared, took the big onkyo out, left the smaller Sony 5 disc drawer loader in.
