A good cd player to match with a MC 4100?

I Have a oppo 980 hooked up now budget about 500 or more considering trades. Speakers are thiel scs 1 and a power sub when needed. Room approx 13 by 17 Trey cieling. CDs and sacd would be good.the more help the better
