A/B-ing speakers of different impedances.

I have two pair of speakers of different impedances. Jensen CN-100 are rated at 16 ohms. McIntosh XR-5 are rated at 8 ohms. If I were to connect both to a multi speaker switch box, should they be connected to the 8 or the 16 ohm taps on the amplifier?

Sorry gentlemen.
I think I’m not clear on my question.
I have a multi-speaker junction box.
If I connect the 8 ohm McIntoshes into say, input number 1 of the junction box, and the 16 ohm Jensens into say, input 2 of the junction box, how do I connect the junction box into the amplifier?  The 8 ohm or the 16 ohm input?
Thank you.
For the record, the amplifier is a
McIntosh 2105.
Also I recently moved, and have been fiddling with speaker position for two weeks now.

I thank you all for the discussion, especially Mr. Carbon.
I will eschew the switchbox, enjoy one pair of speakers, then enjoy the other at another date.
