When I had my M801's, I used Purist Elementa Bi-wire. I thought it worked out good. It all depends on YOUR ears tho, try out acouple different types. I would Bi-Wire them with whatever type of cable u get.
If you are using B&W 801's, try contacting Vantage Audio in the UK. They make sets of silver and gold speaker cables for the 801. They are outstanding cables! Check out their website for contact details (vantageaudio.com). Hope this helps! Good luck.
