16 or 20 gauge duelund wire for a 5 meter run SE interconnect??

guys i am going to try the duelund wire- my Joule Electra amp and pre are both SE-couple of questions- for a 5 meter run will one be better than the other and also am I better off building some balanced cables for the long run then use my jensen transformer to switch back to rca- thanks as always for your expert advice-
