12AU7/12AX7 for Rogue monoblocks

I AM LOOKING FOR RECOMENDATIONS FROM ROGUE 120 MONO USERS.wHAT TUBES ARE YOU USING AND WHAT HAS SOUNDED THE BEST IN THESE AMPS.

Too bad for them.I cant help you out with the M-120's but I have a Rogue 99 preamp that has 2 12ax7's and 2 12au7's in the phonostage.I replaced the supplied tubes with 12ax7 Telefunkens and the 12au7's with Radiotecniques.HUGE,HUGE improvement!! Call Kevin Deal @ upscale audio.Get good NOS they are worth it.Maybe also Mark can steer you in the right direction also.If you call Mark tell him Dave said HI!

david99 Details Discussions Posts This discussion Message User 1,467 posts 08-02-2000 at 08:30pm Copy Comment URL Report Comment Edit Delete I have a stock Dynaco ST-70 with Svetlana EL-E4's and for input I have (2) NOS RCA 7199's Carl has a Rogue 88 but I dont think he has done any tube rolling yet.Try Mark at Rogue,he knows what works best.
