125W @16ohm, what amp?

Hi!

I recently got 2 UPM-1 Meyer passive speakers and I’m now trying to get my head around all these technical terms and get an amp for it.

I’ve some questions:

I never had passive speakers before so I’m a bit confused about the meaning of 125W at 16ohms
Can I use a 4ohm or 8ohm amplifier with it?
I want it full blast, is a 200w amp fine (2x100w)?

That’s a hefty amp, i.e. one that specs 250W or more into the usually quoted 8ohm load. No worries, many professional amps spec well above that output!
