Looking for new places to buy vinyl
Hi guys, I am enjoying your posts as to good places to buy vinyl and I have actually used a few of them. I have also steered clear of others based on reviews of their service. I wanted to chime in that I have purchased several records from Music S...
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Zaphodbeeblebrox, can you post a review of it? I am thinking about that one too.
Looking for new places to buy vinyl
Thanks guys, I am always looking for new places to get my fix. We have a great record shop that isn't to far away from my house. Tom's Music Trade in Red Lion is a great shop to pick up used records but he also has a small assortment of new vinyl ...
Whats on your turntable tonight?
Listening to a fresh copy of the 10,000 Maniacs - In My Tribe that I ordered a few weeks ago. It sounds really good. It is the MSFL copy. I have always liked this album on CD but had never heard it on vinyl. Glad I bought it. I think it is head an...
Speakers for a newbie

pro-ject speed box 2 , all they say it is ?
I have the speedbox 2 also and I notice a cleaner fuller sound but I think that comes from its ability to clean up the sine wave in the power so it has a good clean place to start. Since this thread is pretty old you have either decided to get one...
The best speaker you ever heard?
For me it would have to be the Magnepan MG20. I have always been a big Maggie fan. I love the deep low end but also the wide open sound stage typical of a planer speaker. Since the sound of a speaker is subjective to individual taste that is the o...
Attn Vinyl lovers - what CD Player do you use?
I have the Adcom GCD 575 for my CD transport but I use the Cal Audio Sigma for my D/A converter. I like the tubed output stage as it seems to warm up and smooth out the digital edge of the CD. Still not a huge fan of CDs or digital format in gener...
