Room Treatments
Why don't you check out Rives Audio? I worked with them and am very happy with the results. They can come up with treatments that are very WAF-compliant, and still work very well.

Check out a used Ayre KX5eMP. I've been very happy with mine, detailed, but very smooth. I upgraded from an ARC LS16 and it was a significant upgrade. 
Cardas Golden Reference upgrade to what?
I recently compared the Tellurium Q speaker and IC cables to Cardas Clear, and found them to be very comparable (at about 1/3 the price). If you can find them to try out, I'd say go for it. BTW, I bought the Tellurium's

I would make sure to compare any of your chosen amps with your AR 100.2. You may just decide that there isn't a significant-enough improvement (especially with 3.6's) to justify the upgrade costs.
