Peachtree Nova vs. INova?
curious about this myself as I'm strongly considering the iNova. also wondering if the iNova has bigger differences when engaging the tube, which I've read makes little to no difference with the older Nova.
choosing btwn vintage Dual 1019 vs 1209 turntable
well i just picked mine up earlier today and have been LOVING it! threw a new Shure NE95 stylus on the M95ED and it's been hummin thru my Bellari VP129 tube preamp ever since.

i actually have a 1209 that came with the 1019. currently non-functional, but i'm going to get it evaluated soon. the 1019 i'm actually picking up from the repair shop for the first time today, so i'll be spending the rest of my day enjoying some ...

thanks, i guess i just wanted "safe" because of the age of my turntable. with so many things that can go wrong with a 40 year old unit, i'd like to keep things as simple (and original) as possible really... introducing a Grado, with the possibilit...
choosing btwn vintage Dual 1019 vs 1209 turntable

low tracking force cartridge recommendations?
@ Markd51: thanks for the suggestions. why do you recommend buying the body and stylus separately? as I am quite a novice in this field, installing a stylus onto a body is not the first thing I want to be doing to set up my new system. I have read...
choosing btwn vintage Dual 1019 vs 1209 turntable
that's what the consensus seems to be with some other research i've done, that the 1019 is a bit of a unique find, especially in a working condition. i'm a bit curious how much it'll end up costing me to fix it all up, so i should know by wednesda...
