| Mcintosh c2600 issue Hi,no it was purchased as new with the metal straps still in place Unopened box . Some one purchased 2 and never used it so I jumped on it . Im trying not to notice the flicker for now and will get it serviced within a month or so . | |
| Wilson Sophia 3 is easier to drive than Sophia 2 ? I have the sophia 3 with Mc 452 and c2600 and I feel the 452 is not enough to get the best sound out of them . I think they could use 1.2k monos instead . Thats a huge cost increase but Im sure it would pay off. | |

I have Sophia 3 with Mc452 plus D150 as a preamp and a Freya just for the tube stage .Im also using audioquest water xlr ,I believe the Sophias need even more power to really get them to sound their best .Overall Im satisfied with the sound so far. | |

| Schiit Freya Thump or pop sound Thank you all for such fast responses,I have been turning my amp first and muting the Freya ,even tried waiting a minute to turn off ,turns out the subs being still on and having gain set to round 70 % seems to have been the culprit.i now just tur... |
