Is Coincident Statement Phono pre-amp an overkill Enjoy your new preamp!I've had my Coincident phono stage for about 2 years, and I like it a LOT. As I've upgraded my turntable, my tonearm(s), and my cartridge(s), I've never had the slightest urge to upgrade my phono stage. After being advised by...
TubeGuru amps from Hungary? I have been enjoying his 40 WPC push-pull monoblocks (based on the Siemens F2a tube) for the last 8 months or so. Beautifully built, dead silent to operate, and they produce great sound. What's not to like?

coincident pure reference "extreme" I purchased a pair this summer, and at 150 hours of listening time, have reached the half-way point on break-in. In my small shoebox listening room, they deliver spectacular resolution and soundstaging. I can't imagine every buying another pair of...
Doshi preamp...Is it a good preamp with CD + LP ? It's by far the best line stage I've ever heard with CDs. And it's no slouch with LPs either! If you're interested in acquiring one at a very reasonable price, contact me directly.Michael

How much better is the Scoutmaster vs. Scout? I jumped from the Scout with the periphery ring straight to the Super ScoutMaster, and the difference is rather huge, particularly through the very revealing ZYX cartridges and phono stage. If you like vinyl now, you're going to want to upgrade ov...
Review: Magnepan 3.6R Speaker I'm a happy owner of Sound Lab full-range U-2 ESLs (same size as the A-3s and M-3s, don't even ask), but I did some careful listening to the 3.6R at a local dealer. The mid-range is startling in its clarity and immediacy. I definitely heard some t... |
