Used speakers
Polk 10's from the early 80's... I believe they can be had used in this range. I use to run them "back-n-the-day" with a DH-200, and they sounded very very nice. 
Two cable questions
I have tried the DIY CAT 5 recipe on http://users.nac.net/markowitzgd/ with great results. Cat 5 network cable is 24 gauge Teflon coated solid core copper (99.99% OFC). Anyone else tried this?

Thanks all... I have tried other amps. Audio Research D-350 (YUK)! Hafler DH200 (not bad for the price, but dull). B&K Sonata 200 watt a/b monoblocks (I prefer the Forte to them). What else should I try, 1k or less used?
